Few places on earth make an engagement feel as cinematic as Monaco. Sara and Tim's session began at Port Hercule, where the superyachts of the Côte d'Azur line the harbor and the whole principality glitters against the hills. From there we set sail — trading the crowded quay for open water, sea breeze, and the kind of light the French Riviera is famous for.
Aboard the yacht, the afternoon unspooled at its own pace: champagne on the deck, bare feet, a linen dress caught in the wind, and the Mediterranean stretching out in every shade of blue. We photographed it the way we approach every couples session — editorially and unobtrusively, chasing the real moments between the poses: the laughter, the quiet glances, the ease of two people who forgot the camera was there.
As the sun dropped toward the water and Monte Carlo lit up behind them, the session became exactly what an engagement should be — not a performance, but a portrait of a couple at the start of everything, in one of the most glamorous settings in the world. It's the kind of Monaco engagement shoot that feels timeless the moment it's taken.
